LDR is HDW's Vendor of the Year SHREVEPORT LA  (September 7, 2001) --  HDW announced LDR Industries as its 2001 Vendor of the Year.  The award is the highest recognition a vendor can receive from HDW.

LDR, long a manufacturer and importer of innovative, high-quality plumbing supplies, has been honored for its world-class commitment to customers.  LDR was awarded the prestigious Vendor of the Year Award at a special ceremony attended by over a hundred other vendors during the annual vendor meeting.  The honor recognizes the one supplier that demonstrates the greatest overall commitment to serving HDW.

“The LDR faucet program has been a growth category for HDW,” said Billy Stapleton, buyer for HDW.  The success of this program figured greatly into the selection of LDR for this award.

“Our ability to present a consolidated plumbing supply program, tailored to an individual store’s needs, puts us ahead of the competition,” said Dan LaPorte, National Sales Manager for LDR.  “This award recognizes the quality, reliability and support we strive to offer all of our clients.  It is our goal to receive the award, again next year!  All Distribution America members should be on notice that we will not be satisfied until we are presented with like awards from their organizations as well,” added LaPorte with a  grin.
